Revised Covid-19 Policies
After the CDC updates of May 13, 2021 on Covid-19 safety measures and the guidance of UFW’s Covid-19 Task Force, the UFW Board of Trustees approved the relaxation of safety requirements in a special board meeting as of today, May 27, 2021. The following measures will apply for both indoor and outdoor environment as appropriate and effective immediately:
Individuals who are fully vaccinated, do not need to wear a mask.
Individuals who are not fully vaccinated are requested to continue wearing masks for their safety and the safety of others.
Social distancing continues to be encouraged indoors.
Check-in (Sunday services and other events) will continue to allow for contact tracing if necessary.
Temperatures will no longer be taken.
We are pleased to be able to move forward toward a less restrictive environment while still keeping everyone’s safety in mind. We thank the members of the Covid-19 Task Force for leading us during this unique time, our staff and worship team who has gone through great length to continue providing meaningful services, and our congregation for their support with financial and volunteer means as well as by adhering to our safety requirements during this challenging time.
